DESCRIPTION:The Wetland Centre has teamed up with Macmillan Children’s Books to explore the wonderful world of wetlands with Gozzle the gosling\, from Julia Donaldson and Sara Ogilvie’s freshly hatched picture book. With outdoor adventures\, special activities\, storytelling sessions and more\, enjoy a season of firsts. Follow the interactive trail to discover what it takes for your fuzzy little friend to become a grown-up goose. From her first nibble to her first splash… right up to the day she flies away on her first migration. There are lots more firsts for you to discover along the way – whether it’s your first time pond dipping\, your first time birdwatching with binoculars\, or simply your first visit. From 28th March – 31st May\, you can also waddle into the Vet Check station and become an amazing animal helper. DESCRIPTION:Play:Make:Art is a unique session that enables time and space for you and your little one(s) to create and just be together. There are no expectations\, pressures or milestones to meet\, only materials to roll\, cut\, tear\, mark\, balance\, thread\, crawl under\, move and inspect. You’ll be supported and gently guided by artist and early years facilitator Abigail Hunt\, who has over twenty years’ experience working with families and developing creative projects for galleries and museums.    \nWhat will you create\, what new skills and stories will unfold? It will be led by your child’s imagination\, and you will be held in a space that allows you to breathe and experiment.
