Jane Newberry: Author Action Rhymes – The Alligator’s Mouth, Richmond

Join Jane Newberry for action rhymes and activities celebrating her new book, Big Red Dragon!

Jane Newberry is an author who uses her experience as a music teacher to create wonderful action rhymes for children. Her first collection of action rhymes, Big Green Crocodile, was shortlisted for the CLiPPA Poetry award.  Jane will be here for a lovely intereactive session introducing her new collection, Big Red Dragon.  The ticket price per child is £5, which is fully redeemable against a Big Red Dragon, hardback £12.99.

12th October is Bookshop Day, an annual, one day celebration of all high street bookshops. Approximately 1000 UK retailers, both independents and branches of chain bookshops, participate. Bookshop Day aims to celebrate bookshops – their contribution to our communities as well as the service they provide for their customers – and to encourage people to start their Christmas book-shopping early, on their high street, with their local bookshop.
