Beaumont House Day Nursery
Beaumont House Day Nursery is an award-winning local nursery, which is now well-established in Twickenham after launching in 2016. Conveniently-located on Twickenham high street, the nursery provides high-quality childcare in a light, modern, free-flow environment, with hand-picked resources and activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination.
Beaumont House offers full day sessions and ad hoc half sessions, as well as early starts and late finishes to help with parents’ working days. They are registered for early years entitlements from the local authority, which help reduce the cost of childcare, and can also help parents explore other avenues for help with childcare costs.
The Beaumont House Team
The nursery is run by a passionate and qualified team, each with a wealth of professional and personal experience. The manager, deputy manager and all supervisors are qualified to at least NVQ level 3 and often to degree level or beyond. The majority of the rest of the staff is qualified to level 3, and the nursery has a culture of continuous professional development.
The nursery staff are also ALL first aid trained, and they access additional training opportunities throughout the year. The nursery works closely with a number of organisations to keep children safe including taking guidance from The Lullaby Trust, Millie’s Trust and Skcin’s Sun Safety campaigns.
The Nursery Environment
The emphasis in the nursery is on learning through play. It has a large range of up-to-date hand-picked resources to interest and stimulate children, set within a beautifully designed space. The nursery encourages independence, and the children are free to initiate their own play. Staff then support them with their choices and extend their learning.
The nursery has an outline routine for the day, so children take part in some larger group activities as well as spending time in smaller groups with their key carer, following their own interests. There is a garden area at the back, so children spend time outside in all weathers as well as enjoying trips to Twickenham Green and other local destinations. The nursery is very much community based, and loves getting the children involved in local activities.
Beaumont House also invites outside teachers into the nursery to explore different activities such as music, children’s yoga, different languages, sporting activities and dance.
