Compass Technology Club

Compass Learning Club has recently moved to bigger premises and is now offering fantastic term-time creative technology classes and holiday workshops, in addition to their tuition lessons in Maths and English.

They offer small group lessons from beginner to advanced levels, split in to age groups, covering the following main topics:

Coding

– Children will learn exciting and fun coding languages such as Crumble and Scratch, which enable junior programmers to code a variety of interfaces such as lighting, vehicles and circuit boards.

Sketchup Design & 3D Printing

– Children will learn the basics of this fantastic design software and bring ideas to life with Compass’s amazing 3D printers.

Robotics & Engineering

– This hands on module will involve assembling and creating working models, from a walking insect robot to an automatic paper plane launcher, using parts, motors and code to bring them to life.
