Celebrate 200 years of passenger train travel, as the Railway proudly features their operational representation of Stephenson’s 1829 iconic ‘Rocket’ locomotive as a tribute to the Railway 200 nationwide events happening all over the UK. Tickets are only £3 for children (under 3s free) & £5 for adults. There’s a lovely picnic field, a jazz band, and storytelling about the Railway’s history and Railway 200 and the 7 ¼ inch sit on train is back that children just love to ride!
Kempton Steam Museum next door to the railway is open giving you the rare opportunity to see the world’s largest triple expansion engine as high as four double-decker buses ‘in steam.’ (Separate entry fee) Visit www.kemptonsteam.org
