Gozzle – London Wetland Centre, Barnes
The Wetland Centre has teamed up with Macmillan Children’s Books to explore the wonderful world of wetlands with Gozzle the gosling, from Julia Donaldson and Sara Ogilvie’s freshly hatched picture book. With outdoor adventures, special activities, storytelling sessions and more, enjoy a season of firsts. Follow the interactive trail to discover what it takes for your fuzzy little friend to become a grown-up goose. From her first nibble to her first splash… right up to the day she flies away on her first migration. There are lots more firsts for you to discover along the way – whether it’s your first time pond dipping, your first time birdwatching with binoculars, or simply your first visit. From 28th March – 31st May, you can also waddle into the Vet Check station and become an amazing animal helper. Your mission: is to nurse your toy goose back to health, becoming an expert with x-rays and discovering how to handle, measure and weigh birds just like a real WWT vet.
