Explore Learning

Explore Learning is a national network of tuition centres, supporting 4-14 year olds with Maths and English, 11+ and SATs tests, and more. Their e-learning programme follows the national curriculum, and their tuition has been independently proven to benefit children whether they are finding school tricky, are looking for a challenge, or somewhere in-between. We’re lucky to have two centres nearby, in Hampton and Hounslow.

At Explore Learning, things kick off with a free trial session, where your child’s needs will be discussed and assessed, and you can see the vibrant and fun tuition centre in action. Children can then attend once or twice a week for hourly sessions. Your membership also includes access to their bespoke online portal, which includes unlimited access to activities that will support home learning. The centres are open Tuesday to Friday after-school until late, and all day Saturday, to ensure the sessions fit in with your family’s schedule.

Every child has their own tuition programme which is personalised to target areas of improvement. There is a maximum tutor:child ratio of 1:6, which ensures the perfect balance of individual support and independent learning. The tutors are experts at inspiring and motivating children to reach their full potential, using interactive, engaging tools to help them excel. This includes the use of some great incentive schemes, which we all know can help motivate a child! Children can earn “Fearless Learning Points” at each session, which can then be traded for prizes (anything from pop-it’s to Lego sets and even portable speakers!). Throughout their time at Explore Learning, children will also receive certificates for mastering new skills. As for the parents, you will receive feedback after every session, and will have regular progress meetings with a member of the management team.

As the centres are OFSTED registered, there are a variety of financial support options available to families. Please speak to a member of staff if you are eligible for Tax-Free childcare, Universal Credit, or are a full-time student for more details. Explore Learning also has a scholarship programme for those receiving Free School Meals.
