Natalie Muallem is an experienced portrait photographer living in Barnes.

How many times have you reached for your phone to capture a precious moment of your little ones only to find it’s in the other room and you’ve missed it completely. As a mother of small kids, Natalie feels it’s nice to just be in the moment rather than interrupting it by taking out your camera or phone. As a photographer, she aims to record those special moments in a natural way so that you can focus on just enjoying them.

Natalie’s first ever photography assignment was of a pregnant lady in Madrid over 12 years ago. After that she photographed the baby at 15 days old, one month and then every few months for over two years. She loved seeing how the baby changed in such as small amount of time from being a tiny newborn to a five month old who laughed and smiled.

Natalie believes that photographs of newborns, babies, kids and families are best taken on location because of the natural nature of the final photos. Her sessions are relaxed and perfect for those who don’t like posing in front of the camera.

Sessions usually take about 1.5 hours, but some like to have a longer session such as a ‘day in the life’ session where Natalie will document a regular Saturday morning, for example, while remaining in the background as an observer. If you are interested in documenting your child’s first year of life, she also offers special discounts for multiple sessions and returning clients.

In addition to family photography, Natalie’s other niche is personal branding photography. This style is great for those who are looking to give their business a new look or want to add value to their website.
