The King’s Head (The White Brasserie Company)
The King’s Head in Teddington is a classic Victorian pub, with a charming professional team. Its open kitchen shows that it is as serious about the food as it is about the beers and wine. The King’s Head is owned by The White Brasserie Company, with Raymond Blanc at the helm, who has given it some great food credetials.
The menu changes seasonally and is extensive, featuring French brasserie dishes with an English pub twist. Everything is cooked to order, fresh on the premises. The menu includes boards to share (or keep all to yourself), starters, mains – including diverse meat and seafood dishes, sausages and a range of steaks – and of course yummy desserts. They place an emphasis on kids, with a set price menu (main, side & dessert) for children up to 8yrs containing classic favourites such as fish fingers and mac ‘n’ cheese, as well as the more adventurous options of moules and a mini charcuterie board. For older children, many of the dishes from the standard menu are available as half portions.
The King’s Head can be found at 123 High Street, Teddington TW11 8HG. It is open 12.00pm-10.00pm Monday – Thursday, 12.00pm-10.30pm Fridays & Saturdays, and 12.00pm-9.00pm on Sundays. Bookings are taken on 020 3166 2900.
