The Petal Pusher

The Petal Pusher is an absolutely gorgeous little cafe on Sandycombe Lane up towards Kew Station Parade. It’s unusual because it’s half flower shop, half cafe – and that’s where its eclectic shabby chic charm lies. It’s an absolute pleasure to enjoy some coffee and cake surrounded by the scent and foliage of fresh flowers and plants.

The menu in the cafe is simple but there’s something for everyone whatever the occasion. Lovely coffee, hot chocolate, Tea Pigs teas, soft drinks, and there’s even a wine list available. If you’re feeling peckish there are pastries and cakes, or for something savoury or more substantial a selection of bagels, sandwiches, soup and salads. If the kids don’t fancy something off the main menu, there are simpler options for them such as hot dogs, and egg mayonnaise or cheese and ham sandwiches, washed down with an Innocent smoothie.

While you’re there, why not treat yourself to some gorgeous fresh flowers to take away and brighten any home. They make bouquets to order, to suit all budgets. And if you have an event coming up – whether it’s a big wedding or christening party, or a small gathering at home – they’ll be able to put together something beautiful for you.
