World Of Children Shopper’s Creche

World of Children is a fantastic Ofsted-approved Kingston creche situated in the Bentall Centre, where you can drop the kids off and take some time out to enjoy some ‘me time’. Browse the amazing range of shops in the Bentall Centre, enjoy a coffee and magazine, take the time to get your hair or nails done, or whatever takes your fancy!

Children aged 0-8 years old can attend the creche, and there’s plenty to keep them busy and happy whatever their age. There is a large open area with various play tables and toys of all kinds to encourage creative play – lots of ‘Wow’ toys, train sets, Happyland, a play kitchen, blackboards, plus lots more, and the toys are all in tip top condition, clean and free of wear-and-tear. In a separate area for the older kids (due to the presence of small parts) there is a craft area where children can choose from drawer-fulls of creative activities. The children are all allowed to take one of their creations home with them… Hama and loom bands are the activities of choice at the moment! There are also supervised activities, including music and movement, and computer games and lots of books. For the babies, there is a separate area full of sensory toys, bouncy chairs and comfy matting, and all baby care items are available to parents on request at no extra charge.

All the staff at World of Children are qualified childcarers and first-aiders, and the atmosphere is friendly and fun, but safe and secure at the same time. They have an excellent childcarer:child ratio – for babies this often means 1:1, for children 2-3 years old 1:4, 3-5 years old 1:5, and 5-8 years old 1:8.

World of Children is situated on the 2nd floor of the Bentall Centre (the opposite end to the car park), in the centre of Kingston KT1 1TP. It is open from 9.30am-5.30pm Monday – Saturday, and from 11.00am-4.00pm on Sundays. Children aged 2-8 can stay up to four hours (booking is advisable), whereas babies can stay up to two hours during one of the morning or afternoon baby sessions (spaces must be pre-booked).
