BarrElla – Barre Concept Fitness Courses

BarrElla logoBarrElla offers Barre Concept fitness courses run by Ella Proietti. This workout combines elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga and resistance training, and is performed at a ballet barre and on mats.

BarrEllaElla was first introduced to Barre Concept classes in 2014 and fell in love with this low impact but high intensity training which results in a long, lean and seriously toned dancer’s body. Ella was amazed at how quickly the workout can tone legs, lift bums, flatten stomachs and sculpt arms… and all the while burning calories! To ensure muscles are re-lengthened, stretches are performed after each strength section so people sculpt and redefine their entire body in super-fast time.

BarrEllaBarrElla’s classes are suitable for mums of all abilities, including complete beginners – and no ballet experience or tutus are required! Being a mum of two children herself, Ella understands the training needs and problem areas that most mums struggle with, and feels passionately about helping them get back into shape and feel more body confident. A typical BarrElla class incorporates body weight exercises combined with Pilates balls, small weights and stretch bands, all performed to high energy, uplifting music. No special clothing is needed (leggings and t-shirt are fine), and no trainers are required.

BarrElla offers Barre Concept and Mat Pilates courses during term time and Personal Training all year round – specializing in the 40+ age group.
