Daisy First Aid Richmond
Daisy First Aid offers award-winning and life-saving first aid classes. It regularly holds sessions in Richmond Borough (as well as other nearby locations), which are run by the extremely experienced Nathalie Bennett – a paediatric first aid trainer specialising in parent and carer classes.
As parents, we would do anything to protect our children. If a child had an accident or fell ill, would you know what to do? Nathalie provides family first aid training at designated venues throughout the UK… or if you can get a group of friends together, then you can choose a date and time that suits you and learn in the comfort or your own home. The classes cost just £25.00 per person and babies under 12 months are always very welcome, so new mums can still benefit from the classes without having to worry about childcare arrangements. The classes last for two hours, and are suitable for parents, parents-to-be, grandparents, babysitters, carers and all those wishing to learn emergency first aid.
The 2-hour parent and carer class teaches how to deal with an accident or emergency involving a baby or child. It covers treatment of an unconscious casualty, recovery positions, shock, resuscitation & CPR, choking, head injuries, fever, febrile seizures, bleeding, burns, fractures, anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction), meningitis, and other childhood conditions.
Nathalie has received regular and extensive first aid training in emergency life saving, resuscitation and automated external defibrillator to an advanced level in her role as a police officer with the Metropolitan Police Service. Having dealt with numerous emergency & life-threatening situations, she has experienced first-hand just how essential immediate medical care can be. She is also a mum of three boisterous young boys, and they too frequently put her first aid expertise to the test!
