Lotta From Stockholm

Lotta From StockholmA local mum of three, Lotta grew up wearing clogs in her native country Sweden, and when she moved to England she thought she had left clogs behind. This was until she went back home to Sweden on holiday, saw people wearing them, and brought some pairs back here.

Lotta From StockholmThe first day she wore them, two people stopped her in the street and asked her where she’d got them. Then a friend even made her promise that she would order a pair for her. On her next trip she came back with four pairs, and the trip after that her entire suitcase was full! That’s when she spotted a business opportunity, set up a website and began selling at Portobello Market.

That was the beginning of Lotta from Stockholm.

Lotta From StockholmShe may have started off selling a small range of fashionable Swedish clogs, but the business has expanded through to the present day. The ever popular and comfortable clogs are available in a wide variety of styles and colours from the Twickenham shop, and by mail order all over the world. But they are just part of the story these days. You can now find a wide range of stylish Scandinavian products including sheepskins, statement Pappelina rugs, clothing, jewellery and homeware. And how does Lotta decide what she is going to stock? That’s simple. If she likes it, she stocks it – and she hopes her customers will too. And judging from the number of customers visiting her shop regularly, they certainly do!
