Reno Designs

Reno Designs make gorgeous bespoke cabinets and wardrobes in the shaker style; for kitchens, bedrooms or anywhere in the house that needs superb quality storage. They have been working with interior designers for over 20 years, creating and installing cabinets, and in 2019 decided to bring their skills direct to their customers by opening a showroom in East Sheen. It is a family run business and they treat their customers as family, working with you to achieve precisely the end result you are looking for.

The majority of Reno Designs work is in kitchen design. Their kitchen cabinets are made of 100% real wood, using a combination of highly durable sapeli and oak. If like us you hadn’t heard of sapeli, it is a dark wood from the same family as mahogany; it is sourced from Africa and is very sustainable. The cabinets are all produced with dovetail joints, which means no screws are involved except for on the handles and hinges, and this makes the cabinets incredibly sturdy and long lasting. They are then with hand painted with your choice of Farrow & Ball paint, or left natural – we think the cabinets and drawers look particularly lovely with painted fronts and natural internal details. Cabinets can be built-in or free-standing, and some of the bespoke details you can include with your cabinets are built-in cutlery dividers, wine racks and chopping board slots.

Reno Designs will work with you to design and plan your prefect kitchen. They conduct a home survey for a fee of £250 which is then taken off the final bill, and can bring your designs to life using 3D software technology before you commit to anything. They work with carefully selected partners to supply your ideal worktops, sinks and electrical appliances – or, of course, you can source your own. The cabinets are built at Reno Designs’ workshop in Rochester, and then their highly experienced installation team will fit everything. From start to finish, a kitchen will generally take a few months to plan, build and install, but it is possible to speed up the process to a minimum of 4-6 weeks.

Reno Designs can also help with wardrobes, cupboards and cabinets for other areas of the home. Their wardrobes can be made with standard or sliding doors, with a wood or mirrored finish, and their cabinets can be built-in or free-standing. They can transform your bedroom, bathroom, under-stairs space or alcoves with their elegant designs.
