Snakes & Ladders

Snakes & Ladders in Brentford re-opened in August 2014 after an extensive £2m refurbishment programme – not so much a facelift as a complete rebuilding. For those familiar with the ‘old’ Snakes & Ladders, the basic format remains the same. However, the equipment, facilities and play areas are all shiny and new, resulting in an environment that you’ll love as much as the kids!

The biggest attraction is the three-tiered climbing frame, full of tunnels, soft steps and obstacles, slides, mini trampolines, tightropes and ball pit. Once the kids enter, you’ll be hard pushed to get them out again! To one side of the climbing frame is an imaginary play area with separate themed areas including a bus, kitchen and hospital, as well as a construction zone full of  giant building blocks. At the other end, there is also a ball play area, where the kids can test out their ball skills and goal-scoring abilities with the Snakes & Ladders staff. For under 5s there is a dedicated zone with a smaller climbing frame, bouncy castle and swings, and for the older ones there is a zone where they can test their driving skills on a mini circuit.

While the kids are playing, there are lots of tables and seating around the place, and a new cafe. The cafe serves a wide selection of hot and cold snacks and drinks, kids meals, confectionery and more healthy options. There are now also five party rooms, so you can let Snakes & Ladders do all the hard work providing the entertainment, catering and party bags!
