Teqnic Tennis Classes & Camps

Teqnic Tennis is offering a COMPLETELY FREE 3 hour camp this summer!

Camps run Monday-Friday from the 24th July through to the 1st September. Teqnic is so confident that your children will want to come back for more, they’re offering the first day completely FREE! There’s no obligation to come back but they are sure you’ll want to!

Teqnic Tennis FeatureTeqnic is proud to run what they’re sure are the most fun tennis classes and camps in London! Their aim is to get pupils playing great tennis, and they believe the best way to do that is by getting them truly engaged. Tennis takes years to become proficient, so if Teqnic can start their players on a lifelong love affair with the game, they’ve done half their job.

Teqnic’s secret to getting the kids energised for tennis lies in the individuals leading the sessions. They have fully accredited and qualified coaches running their sessions and only use the most energetic and fun coaches available.

Tennis Classes

Teqnic TennisYour child doesn’t need to be a budding Andy Murray or Emma Raducanu, as Teqnic Tennis caters for all ages and abilities – and not only do they promise that your kids will ace their tennis game, but they also have some fantastic offers to tempt you further! These include:

    • A FREE junior racket when you sign up to a term of classes!
    • 30% OFF your first term
    • 50% OFF your first private lesson
    • COMPLETELY FREE half day at camp

Classes are available for children aged 4-16yrs, and they take place at Barn Elms Sports Centre in Barnes. There is also availability for private coaching and groups, and if you fancy having a go yourself, adult classes are also available!

Tennis Camps

Teqnic TennisThe great thing about Teqnic’s camps is that you can drop the kids off for a full day of fun (or half-day if preferred) – unlike a lot of other camps that offer different time slots for different ages. This means that you get more time to go and do all those other things you need to get done! Camps are for children aged 4-11yrs, and a typical day is structured as follows:

    • 10.00am: Sign in.
    • 10.00-10.45am: Warm-ups and ball/racket skills. Here they aim to improve co-ordination and agility while getting everyone in the group to know each other.
    • 10.45am-12.00pm: Technical teaching for the shots of the day, incorporated into a variety of games, skills and exercises. There is also a snack break in here for about 20 minutes to refuel.
    • 12.00-1.00pm: Now the focus is on competitions, match play and fun tennis games to put what they have learned into practice.
    • 1.00pm: Half-day collection
    • 1.00-2.00pm: Lunch break, Once the children have eaten their lunch they are able to play on a beach volleyball court – volleyball and sand castle building are encouraged!
    • 2.00-3.00pm: Multisport Games! The camps finish with a bang – the last hour is dedicated to fun and finishing with a smile on everyone’s face. There’s football, cricket, tag rugby, ultimate frisbee and netball for the last hour. Playing different sports helps to keep things fresh and develop some of the other transferable skills that are useful in tennis.
    • 3.00pm Collection.

Classes and camps take place at Barn Elms Sports Centre, Queen Elizabeth Walk, Barnes SW13 0DG. To find out more, you can take a look at Teqnic’s website, or you can give them a call on 07983 357931 or email ed.francis@teqnic.co.uk.
