The Prince Blucher
The Prince Blucher on Twickenham Green is something of a local institution. Whether you’re there for a quick drink during the week, a family meal at the weekend, or a christening party, you’ll always get a warm welcome in a contemporary venue with great food and drink. Originally built in the mid-19th century, The Prince Blucher was extensively renovated in 2014, so the interior has a classic but modern feel, making it suitable for all occasions – it prides itself on being part of the fabric of the local community. The renovation also added a covered, heated dining terrace, making the garden area perfect for al fresco wining and dining. Children are also really well catered for, with baby change facilities, a kids menu and great children’s play area in the garden.
There is a great range of food on offer at The Prince Blucher, with a restaurant menu and bar menu, each featuring pub classics crafted from the finest ingredients. All their meat and fish is sourced from British suppliers, and the menus change with the seasons. The kids menu is a set price for two courses and a drink: for the main course there are things like burgers, sausages, or fish and chips, as well as macaroni cheese or gnocchi; for dessert the choice includes things like brownies, ice cream or fresh fruit.
If you’ve got a special event coming up, then look no further. The Prince Blucher has a wide variety of private rooms and exclusive sections inside and out, so can cater for small gatherings of eight people right up to a large-scale get-together of over 60. Their talented chefs can also put together delicious bespoke packages for the occasion.
