The Tween Tribe – Holiday Adventures
The Tween Tribe is booking now for the summer holidays 2022! Adventures run on selected dates between the 20th July – 1st September.
The Tween Tribe is a fantastic new concept from local mum Kate, who made it her mission during lockdown to create the first boutique holiday club for tweens (10-13 year olds). This age group is always tricky to please – too old for traditional holiday clubs and too young to do their own thing – so the idea was to get them off screens and having some fun in the real world! If your child is not into a specific sport or activity, The Tween Tribe is a fantastic option that offers big adventures and gives the children a feeling of independence and autonomy. A place where kids can feel included, be part of something special, and build some amazing holiday memories!
The way it works is that children escape the suburbs and are taken in small groups on adventure days out in London. Trips leave from Twickenham, Strawberry Hill and Kingston stations. A huge amount of planning and research has gone into creating the most fun, safe and unforgettably unique experiences. Days out include: a graffiti spray painting workshop in London’s only street art studio; making bath bombs at the biggest Lush store in Oxford Street; chocolate making in Covent Garden; trampolining at the O2; riding the world’s longest tunnel slide at the Olympic Park; cable cars in Greenwich; swimming in the Olympic pool and many more! Unique, fun, exciting adventures to suit every taste.
The Tween Tribe understand that safety is a major concern for parents, and have made it their top priority. They are fully insured, DBS compliant, and trained in first aid, safeguarding, diversity, inclusion and belonging. Detailed risk assessments have been done for every activity, and a plan B is always in place to ensure your child is happy and safe. Founder, Kate, works at a record company and has many years’ experience of ‘putting the show on the road’, having toured with bands around the world – so your children are in safe hands!

I would have done anything to have The Tween Tribe when my daughter was younger and I hope we can help all those superhero parents who feel the same. More importantly, I hope this gives our wonderful tweens the chance to reduce tech time and increase activity levels, so they can live their best lives, forge new friendships and make lasting memories. Just like holidays are meant to be! “
