babyballet Twickenham

babyballet® dance classes are well established across the UK, and allow babies, toddlers and older children to enjoy the physical and social benefits of ballet, song and dance in a safe, caring, positive and informal environment. With a real focus on learning through play, their unique, multi award-winning syllabus offers four key stages of ballet and tap classes. babyballet® is sure to capture the imagination of young children and their parents, who love the freedom and magic of the classes.

From the age of six months, classes are a very gentle introduction to the class environment. Using a combination of music, movement and props, classes are a musical sensory experience for grown-ups and their babies to enjoy together. As the syllabus progresses, the children in Tinies (18 months to three years) are encouraged to develop their movement and communication skills on their own but still with their grown-up close by. The basics of ballet are introduced through bespoke babyballet® songs, classic nursery rhymes, imaginative stories and musical instruments. As the children progress to Movers at the age of three years, they’re sure to be hopping, skipping and jumping to the fantastic babyballet® songs independently, and the ever popular Tappers class can also be attended from the age of three. Children aged four to six years can then enjoy the Groovers class, which furthers their understanding and knowledge of ballet technique in the babyballet® magical way!

Classes run term-time, with classes on Mondays & Saturdays at St Marks’ Church on St Mark’s Road in Teddington; on Tuesday afternoons (including an after-school class) & Wednesdays at Holy Trinity Church on Vicarage Road in Twickenham; Wednesdays at Wacky Kingdom the Bentall Centre in Kingston; on Thursdays at the Old Deer Park Sports Grounds on Kew Road in Richmond; on Fridays at Whitton Community Centre on Percy Road in Whitton; and on Saturday mornings at Whitton Baptist Church on Hounslow Road in Whitton.
