Join Francesca, Crane Park Island’s Visitor Engagement Assistant, to explore the ponds and surrounding areas to discover the wildlife that lives at Crane Park Island. Snails, woodlice and worms are just a selection of the animals that you might discover here! Activities will include journey stick making and looking under logs to see what minibeasts we can find.
Meet by the pond (take the first right into the reserve).
If the weather isn’t suitable for outdoor nature activities, they will host nature-themed crafts inside the Shot Tower.
Sessions are aimed at children of all ages and parents/carers together. All children must be accompanied throughout the session by a responsible adult.
No need to book, just drop in on the day.
This is a free event, but donations are welcome. All profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s conservation and education work and the care of its nature reserves.
